When I create a manual booking from a Work Order, the duration is zero.

Hi

I need to create bookings from a work order manually using a quick create form from the Work Order or via the Associated Work Orders grid. When I do this,  the duration is set to zero. Watching it in slow motion; the duration initially is set to the correct duration (totalestimatedduration) but is then over-written by zero. Any suggestion how I can fox this? Does anyone else have the same issue?

    Hi,

Please check your plugin workflow or JS.
Neither the Duration field nor the totalestimatedduration field can be zero.

The End Time field is equal to the Start Time plus the Duration, but the Start Time cannot equal the End Time, so the Duration cannot be zero.
The totalestimatedduration field as described in the video has nothing to do with duration, but it can be modified to zero:
So my guess is that maybe some customization later changed the field values.

Thanks for your response which is correct, but I am afraid you have misunderstood the issue. The issue is that the duration doesn't get mapped from the Work Order. Microsoft have since confirmed that this is expected behaviour and we had to do some JS and config to save the user having to enter this data manually each time the create a Booking without going via the schedule board.
