i would like to seek your assiatance to change asset id in my fixed asset table. i put wrong sequence and i need to delete/change that id in genaral information table.

You cannot change the asset ID of an asset in GP. You can delete the asset and re-enter it with correct Asset ID. You can use the Asset Delete Utility window (Microsoft Dynamics GP menu >> Tools >> Utilities >> Fixed Assets >> Delete) to delete the asset.
Please note that this window only removes the asset related records from Fixed Assets module.
You will need to manually enter an adjustment entry GL to reverse the transactions. You can use the Fixed Assets to General Ledger Reconciliation report (Reports >> Fixed Assets >> Activity >> select Fixed Assets to General Ledger Reconciliation). Enter the Asset ID in report restriction. Prepare the adjustment entry before deleting the asset because once asset is deleted, you will not be able to generate the report for it.
