We are Currently exporting exporting Entity Store Cube to Azure DataLake Storage. We have done the setup for Storage account, Keyvault and other steps mentioned in the documentation. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/entity-store-data-lake. Test Connection to Azure key vault and Storage account gets successful. But after the refresh of entity store cube, no data is getting populated in the Data lake Storage. In some other documentations and videos, they suggested to use normal storage account. But it's not working in both Azure normal storage account V2 and Data Lake gen2 account. We are using Tier 1 Development environment.
We have implemented the same in our sandbox environment where it works fine. (We installed Export to Datalake add-on). Don't know why it's not working in Tier1 Development Environment. Anything we are missing?
Hi Dharmi,
I still need to try the feature(s) on my tier-1 environment. I wasn't able to evaluate the workaround for tier-1 environments. I'm not sure yet about limitations.
@André Arnaud de Calavon Thanks for your response. In documentation they mentioned Export to Azure Data Lake(Tables) are not supported in Tier 1 Environments . But for Export Entity Store to data lake they didn't mention like that. Can you comment on this if you are aware?
Thank you
Hi Dharmi,
Tier-1 environments are not directly supported like Tier-2 or higher. You can use some GitHub tools to prototype this feature. You can read more here:
