Is there a way to automate the direct delivery step in a sales order

We have some customers where all the sales are made via the direct delivery functionality.

This works very well. However, we wondered whether this is any out-of-the-box functionality to create the direct delivery PO.

Currently, once the sales order is confirmed we press the direct delivery button on the sell tab, and then select include all. Is there any way of doing this step automacially via a batch job (or another way of doing this)?

Hi Chris,

Out of the box, there is no automation for this. You can consider a customization. Will all sales orders have direct delivery or is this based on certain rules? How do you do this setup on customers?

Hy Chris,

you can setup the "direct delivery" option at the released product. If a Standard Vendor is assigned at the product, the PO will be created automatically if you use this product in a sales order.

If you create the PO product receipt you can also activate the option to "print sales documents", which means the SO packing slip will also be posted at this moment.

Unfortunatelly it is not the case at the PO Vendor invoice posting to create the SO Invoice at the same time. But this can be setup to be done by batch job to create all invoices for delivered SO's.
