Hi Khushboo,
There is a setting to set the search filter. Refer below-
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/crm/2017/01/06/search-enhancements-in-portal-capabilities-for-microsoft-dynamics-365/
Hope this helps.
Hello Ravi !!
Thank you for your reply..
I have done some R & D on the Search/filter Site Sitting. If will modify this It will remove entities from search button drop down. But search result will still return the other Entity data.
I havent tried this recently but I remember when I tried it before, it was working finei.e. it removed the entities from filter as well as restrict the results.
Did you verify this?
Yes Ravi.. But this is not working to restrict the Search Result of Portal.
Hi Khusboo,
I tried also but no luck. Seems a bug in CRM Portal. Was working fine in Adxstudio.
Raised ticket with MS. Let see what response we get.
Regards
Arpit
Is there any update on this Arpit ?
I also have same requirement to remove web pages from search criteria.
I tried with "Exclude From Search" option on web page , but its not working.
Will removing entity from search criteria will help?
Hi Prashant,
I had same requirement and I raised the ticket with Microsoft, Please check the below solution,
Step 1: Modify the search filter Site Setting, Remove the Webpage entity from Search filter value.
Step 2: Remove the Portal search view from the Web Page Entity.
step 3: Modify the search query Site setting value.
Step 4: Restart the Portal
After that you need get website restarted from Microsoft where actual portal website is hosted.
This will probably solve your problem.
Thanks !!
You mean delete that view from system?
I've modified all the settings you mentioned above , but it is still not working.
May be I need to restart portal and check once again.
Yes , you need to delete the view from system.
If Problem still exit then need to get restarted the website from Microsoft where actual portal website is hosted.
Have you ever tried this?
I need to try this on trial first , let's see , will update the result soon.
