No data in financial reports

Hello

I have installed Financial reports (Management reporter) add in.

configured the financial reporting setup

reset the data mart.

When I try to view any of the standard out of the box report, I get the below error

Hi @CU08021536-0,

Could you please verify whether the period you are generating the report for contains data? You can confirm this by checking the Trial Balance inquiry.
If the Trial Balance shows data for that period, then please check whether the report is being run with a Reporting Tree. If it is, try running the report without the Reporting Tree and see if the report returns data.

Additionally, you mentioned that you reset the Data Mart. Could you please confirm whether the reset process completed successfully and that the status shows “Run to completion”?

The report does have data for Trail balance and the Data Mart reset is completed successfully.

I am not using the Reporting Tree when running the report

Could you please check how your Row Definition is configured? In the standard out-of-the-box reports, the Row Definition is typically configured using Account Categories rather than a range of main accounts.

Please ensure that your Main Accounts are assigned to the appropriate Account Categories, otherwise the report may not return any data.
If possible, could you please share the Row Definition, Column Definition, and the Report criteria/parameters you are using to run the report? This will help us better understand the configuration and narrow down the root cause of the issue.

If you are working in the Test environment and still facing this issue after verifying the following items

DataMart reset status is complete

Integration status in Management Reporter is complete

Financial Reporting cache has been cleared

Report parameters (company, row definition, and column definition) are correct

Then I would suggest rebuilding the Financial Dimension balances for the main accounts.

BEFORE DOING THAT you can also try creating a new simple report in Management Reporter with only one row that includes a single main account which has a balance. Generate that report to check whether Management Reporter is able to display the balance correctly.

If the balance still does not appear correctly, then proceed with rebuilding the Financial Dimension balances and test the report again.
