Dear All,

I got a data management sales Order Header V2 below. How can I rename target field CONFIRMEDRECEIPTDATE to Confirm Ship Date. So that When user export this data management from system. They will see the column Confirm ship date not CONFIRMEDRECEIPTDATE

    Hi,

As mentioned in my first post, if you are working with Excel and data management export then you cannot rename the column fields.

I am not XSLT expert but you definitely can use to convert the formats (again may increase complexity).

What you can do is use the same processing group for every import then you can update the Excel file column names manually and when creating the Import processing group, update the mapping with appropriate columns.  (This is much easier option)

You can't do that. You will see the AOT names of the fields when you export to Excel.

However when you use "Open in Excel" functionality then it will use the label of the corresponding field in D365. And the labels should be possible to change with extension.

In import they can map the fields of the import file to fields in D365. This is done in the data management project settings. So they can map the shipping date to receipt date if they want to.

But you can't change the actual field name of the D365 entity.

Why do they want to map ship date with receipt date? Can you help us understand your requirement? Thanks!

I think that you should look at the ConfirmedShippingDate field to get the confirmed shipping date information. Is there some reason why it doesn't work out for you? I don't understand why you would like to show the receipt date as shipping date.

    Hi,

How is export happening? Is it in Excel? Export using data management uses AOT field names.

The only way to change the name would probably be by the XSLT transformation which is easier in XML format. You can perhaps use it to convert to CSV but might increase complexity.
