"The file that you are trying to use is too large" - Error when export Config. Package

Hi All,

I was trying to export a config. package from system and hit the error "The file that you are trying to use is too large.". I do believe there will be some places for me to extend the export file size limit but just could not find it.

Saw a related articles from internet talking about extending the export file size, but can't find this in NAV 2013.

Seeking help!

Regards,

TC

    Hi Travis,

The ClientUserSettings.config file is in below folder:

    %appdata%\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\70

    Hi Guys,

I think I have to update another solutions that i did to solve my problem.

So i went to the ClientUserSettings and do a changes on it which change the "MaxNoOfXMLRecordsToSend" to larger amount:

However, when i try again to export the Config. Package to Excel, I'm still hit the same error "The file you are trying to use is too large."

So i gave another try on changing the "Max Upload Size" (located at Administration Tools > Client Services) from default 40MB to 60MB, restart the instance, and now the Config. Package is able to export out! :D

Hopefully this reply able to help up whoever facing the same problem.

    Regards,

    TC
