Payables Trial Balance/Outstanding Listing by COA Segment

I am looking for 2 reports:

1/ A list of all outstanding Payables invoices - with the PURCH account number listed. If the invoice is charged to multiple accounts then I would like to see the invoice listed multiple times with its respective PURCH account number. I also would like to sort the report by any COA segment.

2/ Aged Historical Trial Balance - with PURCH account numbers and be sortable by GL Segments.

I am not sure if should embark on modifying the existing reports (if this is possible) or shall I go with the SSRS/Crystal route.

I prefer modifying the existing reports as the users will have access to it from within GP, rather then creating it in SSRS/Crystal and then linking it back to GP.

SSRS/Crystal would be a much better option. Modifying the existing reports would present a real challenge. Check out Victoria Yudin's scripts/views here for a good start on the scripts - victoriayudin.com/.../sql-view-to-show-all-gl-distributions-for-ap-transactions
