Hi,
i want to create a service contract for six month subscription billing, 1st month service invoice will be prepaid and remain all are non-prepaid. system not allow to prepaid checkbox inable or disable after creating one service invoice from service order.
please guide me if i am missing somthing in setup.
Prepaid here indicates I pay all upfront and I'm covered for the whole time. Subscription billing is more like my Netflix account where I pay and I have the service but at any point during the billing cycle I can cancel it.
You have deferrals for breaking down revenue over multiple periods or you can use a blanket order to create many invoices over a cycle of time but it's fairly manual.
In your case try taking off the prepay and change the contract to monthly. Use the create service contract invoices. This will generate invoices for the different date filters you choose which is more inline with the idea of a subscription bill.
