Hi,

I've a problem with crm import wizard.

I using "export to excel" function to save record in xlsx format (Static Worksheet mode) but when i try to re-import the same file i see that no records are processed (in "import" entity view there are 0 total records processed).

Can you help me?

Thanks

Giuseppe

    Hello Giuseppe!

First let me ask is this online or on prem? I'd start with if it's on prem looking to ensure your Async Service is started on the server. When you go to the Data Management section what does your import say in terms of status reason? Is there an error or anything like that. On a successful one I see this:

I look forward to hearing back from you Giuseppe!

Try zipping up the file and import the zip file.

    Hi Jason,

i use On-Premise version and Async Service works. I posted a screen of Data Managment section. I've re-import a excel file and i've 0 total record processed (status completed)

    Any idea?

    Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! Now this looks like a case of no data in the excel file. How many records are in your excel file your trying to reimport? Is it possible for you to remove any sensitive data that is in the file and post it in a comment?

Did you try the zip file and import method I suggested? I have had the exact same issue in the past and was able to successfully import after zipping up the file and importing the zip file.

In the Excel file there are hidden "Checksum" columns. Before importing the data, CRM checks each row of the Excel for changed values by using the checksum. If the data has not changed, it won't process the record (even if the record does not exist in CRM).

If you want to re-import the records, save your Excel file to a CSV without the checksum columns.

    Thank you Natraj Yegnaraman
