We have a shared mailbox support@company.com, which according to our exchange expert doesn't have a password. I am trying to set this up as a user in Dynamics CRM 2016 on-premise as we want to be able to send emails out from this mailbox.
The exchange expert has setup an AD user with full permissions to this mailbox. However, when I setup the user in CRM, enter the mailbox credentials and test and enable the mailbox we get an error: GeneralOutgoingMailboxAccessError.
Everything seems to be in order so not sure what this error is eluding to. Does anyone have any ideas?
