    Rashed,

If you want to download the Product Release or Service Packs for any GP version, you need to login with either Customer Source/Partner Source ID. Without Customer/Partner Source login id you can't download  Product Release and Service Packs.

If you are using SQL server 2008 R2, Service Pack 5 is required for GP 10.0.

So, contact your partner to get the Service Pack 5 for Dynamics GP or Downgrade the SQL server to 2008.

    Hope this helps!!!

    Hello Rashed

Since you have an established contract with Microsoft Partner, you can request further clarifications on the access/denied related to your ability to download. I have seen such cases quite rarely, and it was resolved on the fly.

I don't recommend downgrading, upgrading to GP 10.0 the minimum thing that you should set a plan for, what would be stopping you from upgrading to GP 2013 either and get benefit of the several new features and functionality in the system.

When GP service pack 5 was announced, it brought SQL server 2008 compatibility to GP 10. Just to make sure that both SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2 are compatible with Dynamics GP 10.0.

Please never hesitate to share any further inquiries,

SQL Server 2008 compatibility has been brought with GP 10 SP5, before service pack 5 you need to consider SQL Server 2005.
