Hi all,

Could you help me with the following questions?

I need to get consolidated report  for several legal entities in reporting currency. Some of legal entities have  the accounting currency EUR, the reporting currency USD (demf),Some of legal entities have  the accounting currency USD, the reporting currency USD (usmf).

1.  is it correct to to populate a 'currency display' attribute with 'Reporting currency from ledger' for each legal entity for this purpose?

2. For test purposes I  have added two columns for each legal entity with empty  'currency display' attribute and  'currency display' attribute ='accounting'.

When I  run report from usmf  legal entity (accounting currency USD, the reporting currency USD ) i received such a report.

What is the way the column C is calculated ( for Demf legal entity)?

it looks like it is calculated in usd because report was run from usmf.

But if we verify transactions for this main account for this period for demf,we can see that total amount in the accounting currency is 800 eur, total amount in the reporting currency is 1084,2 usd.

How did they get 1095,84 usd amount?

P.S.  I tried to dig into question #2. i have found out that this main account has such a set up.

on the one hand, the current exchange  rate  for defaut rate type is 1,369 usd for 1 eur.

on the other hand if we make a such calculation: we divide  total amount from report 1095,84 usd by total amount of transactions 800 eur  and we receive 1,369 usd for 1 eur..it is the same rate.

So, it means that, when we run report from usmf  legal entity( usd, usd,) , the amount for legal entity demf for column  with empty  'currency display' attribute is calculated ,on the vase of amount in transaction currency (eur) and  main account set up (what exchange rate should be used for this main account transaction).
