Hi,

We are starting to use shopify and business central for the first time, so I have two questions.

1. I want to be able to add tags to items in order to categorize all products in Shopify. For example, all instruments should have the tag “instrument,” all books should have the tag “books,” and so on. I know this functionality exists in Shopify today. But how is this synced in BC, and how does it work there? Should I use attributes in order to get the tags into Shopify?

2. I have written quite a bit of marketing text on our old website. If I import that into the “Marketing Text” field on the item card in BC, will that text then be synchronized to Shopify so customers can see it there?

Hi,

1. You can use item category in Business central. You can also use attribute

2. Yes, Marketing text of items syncronized to shopify products

1. I think you can sync the item category to Shopify.

2. Yes. In addition, as far as I know, Attributes can also be displayed, so the tag in the first question can also be achieved with Attributes.
