Can not filter in grid

Hi All...

I have Form. I want to filter by grid.

But, some field can not filter.

Field Follow Up, Venue and Description --> EDT (smmActivityUserMemo) --> StringSize -->(Memo)

Why? can u help me.

What can i do?

    Hi Pii

    It is most likely that these fields are "Display fields" you cannot filter or sort on display fields in AX. If this is your own form I'd recommend changing the form to incorporate the source of these fields as a data source and add the proper fields to the grid.

    As per my understanding, Field with StringSize memo is not allowed for filter

    Please verify and update us with your findings

    I want to use Field with StringSize Memo.

    But, i want i can filter by grid (Ctrl+G).

    Can i do it?

    No, you can't filter by Memo fields; use text fields with finite size.
