Create several sales orders from one sales quote

We have often the situation that customers order partially lines or even quantities from a quote.
Does BC (Cloud version) offer this function?
I haven't found it so far, but I hope somebody out there knows.
Thank you and regards
Martina

In Business Central, a sales quote can only be converted into one sales order. If customers order partially, you can convert the quote into an order and then adjust lines/quantities or use the Copy Document function to create additional orders based on the same quote. Another approach is to keep the quote open, duplicate it, and then convert duplicates into separate orders as needed.

don't use sales quote, use blanket sales order and create partial sales order from there as per customer request

Yes, Dynamics 365 Business Central (Cloud) supports partial processing, but it works primarily at the sales order level, not directly on the quote. Also, as mentioned in earlier responses, you can opt for Blanket sales order.

In Business Central, only one Sales Order or Sales Invoice can be created from a Sales Quote — and that is by design. Once a Sales Quote is confirmed (based on pricing, quantities, or other terms and conditions), and convert into either sales Order or Sales Invoice you can not reuse that sales Quote. I personally believe that it correct.

If changes are needed before converting the Sales Quote, you can archive the original and then update the quote with the new values. This approach allows you to retain a record of the original version for reference.

Alternatively, you might consider using a Blanket Sales Order as a workaround, depending on your specific scenario.

I hope this helps clarify your question.

    Thanks,

Seems to be Blanket Order requirement. Quote to Order is a one to one relation but Blanket you can utilize for this. Concept of Blanket orders are different though.

Hi, I've been asked a similar question before, and it's possible to do this with a simple customization.
Dynamics 365 Business Central: How to retain/keep the sales quote after converting to an order or invoice (Customization)

    Thanks.

Partial processing is possible, but for this scenario Blanket Sale order can be created.
