Error Configuring mail in Microsoft Dynamics GP2016 R2

Hello,

I have problems to configuring mail in Microsoft Dynamics GP2016 R2, when i try to do it in this route; Microsoft Dynamics GP / Tools / Company / mail configuration, the system show this messages: 

1.- 

either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill
the messaging request. Please run microsoft outlook and set it as the default mail client

2.- 
The MAPI connection is not available. Can not send email or select addresses

Already check the system preferences settings and have the MAPI option configured in the email configuration section in this route 

Microsoft Dynamics GP / Tools / System/ System Preferences 

My GP Version Is GP2016 16.00.0620 (R2)

My Office Version is Office Profesional 2016 plus

My machine has Windows 10 Enterprise Last Version 64 bits

SQL Server 2012 - SP4 

If someone has a correct procedure to configure the mail, please send it to me

    I typically see this error when running 64-bit Microsoft Office. If you are using 64-bit Office, you need to ensure the server type is set to Exchange, not MAPI. You can change this under Administration > Setup > System > System Preferences

    Hi Mariano,

    I Make the suggested change in the system preference settings and the same error is still displayed.

    What else can I do?

    E-mail error in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013: "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the message request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client."

    The blog references Dynamics GP 2013, but the information wouldn't be much different for Dynamics GP 2016 R2...…
