Error after Upgrade to BC 21, Not able to open company because of permission error

Hi All,

I have upgraded database from BC 20 to BC 21 (On Prem). Every steps worked fine and database successfully upgraded to BC 21.

When i tried to login into web client i am getting the below error-

While opening company TEST, the following error occurred: 'Sorry, the current permissions prevented the action. (TableData Signup Context Values Insert: System Application)'.

I have checked the system application symbols and this is the new Table 150 (Signup Context Values) introduced in BC 21. I am login using the SUPER user account, so there should be no issue but facing the above error.

Anyone faced this issue and have an idea how to resolve this?

Thanks.

Best Regards,
Naveen Gour

Hi, Is there a company other than TEST set behind the Super permission?

If permissions are fine, I suspect a license issue.

Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.

    Thanks.

    Hi YUN,

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes, the user has SUPER for all companies. This is strange like even if i have SUPER still facing this permission issue after upgrade to BC 21.0.

Have you checked that the sevice users permissions on the SQL database is ok?

I assume you are running BC on prem.

    Hi Inge,

Yes, Permission is DB owner in SQL. I am using BC On-Prem 21.0

    Thanks.
