"An unexpected error occurred" when transitioning from legacy solution to model-driven app

I converted my legacy solution to a model-driven App; I created a new App based on the legacy solution.. When I go to validate the App, I receive a single error which simply states "An unexpected error occurred" Nothing else is highlighted.

Is there any way to determine what the error is.

Thanks!

    Hi,

I'd like to know more about how you proceeded.

    If I understand well, you:

    1. Created a new app
    2. Chose "Use existing solution to create the App"
    3. Chose a solution: can you confirm you selected a unmanaged solution at this stage?
    4. Did you choose to "Configure sitemap later" or chose an existing one?

Did you customize and validate the sitemap before validating the app?

Did you try to see if Fiddler catches more details on the error?

In case that doesn't help, I suggest you open a Support Request here: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support

Yes I created new app based on an existing unmanaged solution. I chose to include the existing Site map. Every time I do this it seems to present the "An unexpected error occurred" message.

I tried not including the Site map, and this seems to work, with no error message.

Oddly enough, in the first app iteration I did [with Site map included.], the "An unexpected error occurred" error message eventually just disappeared. Very odd! I really did nothing but ope/close the App a few times.  Now I just have warnings which I can work through.

    Thanks!
