MS CRM 2013 - Eloqua

Hello all,

Does anyone has experience with the integration between MS CRM 2013 and Eloqua Marketing Automation?

Unfortunately Eloqua do not provide an interface for MS CRM 2013 and they do not have something on the roadmap. This becomes a showstopper in our project.

I only found these guys:

Any help and comments are welcome!

Thanks

Mirko

    Hi Mirko,

What this means is that there is no out of the box integration between MS Dynamics CRM and Eloqua and the company who's link you've posted have developed a custom integration between the two.

I think your best bet is either contact Eloqua for some more info on who developed integrations for them (if any) or ask the company you found for some more information/examples/videos on the integration to help you decide if it would suit your needs.

Thank you for using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Communities

I suggest moving to a more Dynamics CRM supported Marketing provider like Click Dimensions or Marketing Pilot.  Check out those solutions and see if they meet your needs.

If you are not able to switch marketing providers, then you will need to develop a custom interface between Dynamics CRM and your marketing solution provider.  I don't generally recommend this approach because it is almost always more costly and you end up with less functionality than what is provided by a fully integrated marketing provider like Click Dimensions.

    Hi Mirko,

Just checking in to see if you've been able to move forward in your project in integrating MS CRM 2013 & Eloqua since your post.

I'm with Relationship One (who's a certified Oracle partner) and we have built out integrations with both OnPrem and SaaS, which one are you utilizing? I'd be happy to set-up a time for discussion if you'd like to speak more on the subject.

We currently use Eloqua as our marketing automation platform and have it integrated into CRM 2013 On Premise.

We are currently using CRM to load our lead and customer data into Eloqua and to easily dissect our data for reporting within CRM. We did all this through SSIS and an CRM/SSIS tool called CozyRoc.

We found it much easier to create our own integration than to use a 3rd party.

Does the integration require that Eloqua builds CDOs for all numeric data from the MS CRM including accounts GUID / Countries and other drop-down fields?

Appreciate your insight.. we are going through an integration and overwhelmed with the numbers coming out of MS dynamics?  Thanks
