Quantity field in Production BOM Lines table [99000772]

Hi,

Trust you are well.
We are working on a project integrating Solidworks (CAD client) with NAV using Odata/Rest.

We have been able to get all core modules working except the Production BOM Lines table.. The issue it seems is that the "Quantity" field isnt either updating in-sync with the "Quantity per." field nor is NAV allowing the integration code to progrmatically populate this field. The field is also inaccessible to a manual data entry operator.

Can anyone point to some documentation or workaround this issue?

We are currently using Dynamics NAV 2013 R2.

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

We currently do not have dedicated Dev support via the Dynamics 365 Business Central forums, but I wanted to provide you some additional resources to assist. If you need assistance with debugging or coding I would recommend discussing this on one of our communities.

I will open this up to the community in case they have something to add.

    Thanks.

Hi, There is an older info below that I hope will give you some hints.

I also checked the latest source code (NAV may be different, you need to double check), Quantity is a field that cannot be edited. It is calculated according to the "Calculation Formula" method when you enter the Quantity Per field.
