GP18.5 window buttons missing

Hello everyone,
 
I am using GP v18.5 and encountered this issue where I am missing some buttons under the Sales Customer Detail Entry window and other modules. My GP is installed on a terminal server and I rdp to it. This happens frequently once every week.
 
 
Would someone be able to help me? Please advise.

    Is it just this window, or when this starts to happen, do you see checkboxes missing in other windows too?
    We have a blog that lists some reasons this may happen if you have not seen it/ reviewed it.

    Hi Community User,
     
    I've seen this behavior when DPI is set to something other than 100% (i.e. you have a 4K monitor which would ordinarily make everything very small on screen, but DPI is used to "inflate" everything). GP doesn't properly reflect DPI. It seems some objects/artifacts inflate with DPI while others don't and sometimes you'll have buttons that seem to disappear. You can use a registry entry and dynamics.exe.manifest to force GP to inflate with DPI via instructions that Ian Grieve put together within this link. Worth giving a shot I think. Not sure that's what you're running into as the screenshot you provided doesn't appear to be that situation (the title bar and text would look very different with different font sizes due to text not inflating with DPI, but title bar inflating) although wouldn't do any harm if it doesn't fix issue.
