Hi
Is there anyway of forwarding on time sheets for approval to another memebr of staff. I understand you can't change an approver whilst time sheets are still open but wondered if there was anyway of pushing existing ones on to someone else please?

Hi,
If you click the workflow history button then you can navigate to the work items section at the bottom and reassign the one who has the current approval step to do.
This works of course only if you have sufficient user rights.

Ludwig is correct. Note that if there are a lot of pending workflows, it will be a tedious job. You can consider a customization to automate or speed up the process.
thanks for your replies. unfortunately I don't have a workflow set up for this so it is just manual entries that are done, does anyone have any ideas please?
if workflow is not enabled, how is approval is being done?
As far as I know you have to use the workflow if you use the project timesheet feature. Without a workflow approval you cannot post the recordings.

As Christoph mentioned, for timesheets a workflow is a must.
An alternative to using timesheets would be hour journals that also allow you recording time on projects. Yet, the process of recording time in an hour journal is different from timesheets.
Not sure if this is an option for you.
