To add new table mappings in Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC), follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Extension Management: Log in to your Dynamics Business Central account with your admin credentials. Then, go to the Extension Management page.
    2. Select "Mappings": In the Extension Management page, locate and select the option for "Mappings" or "Data Mappings". This will typically be found within the settings or configuration menu.
    3. Add New Mapping: Look for an option to add a new mapping. This will vary depending on your version of Business Central and the specific extensions you have installed. There should be an option to create a new mapping for tables.
    4. Choose Tables: Once you're in the mapping interface, select the tables you want to map. In this case, you'll want to select the tables for products and units of measurement.
    5. Map Fields: After selecting the tables, map the relevant fields from Business Central to Dynamics CE. This ensures that the data is accurately transferred between the two systems.
    6. Save and Test: After mapping the fields, save your changes and test the mapping to ensure that data is being transferred correctly.

Regarding permissions, typically, the admin account should have sufficient permissions to manage mappings. However, if you encounter any issues, you may need to check and adjust the permissions for your admin account.

If you need further assistance or encounter any difficulties during the process, don't hesitate to reach out to us at Cloudify. Our Microsoft Business Central integration expert will be happy to help you integrate the necessary mappings and streamline your data transfer between Dynamics 365 Business Central and other systems.
