LCS to Azure High Availability deployment failure

Posted on by 1,227

I am attempting to deploy a HA environment through LCS.  I am accepting most of the defaults.  The only customizations are switching the D3's to D3 V2, set the number of disks to attach to the SQL server to 4, set to a new domain and enter the domain name (prod.local), under the service accounts I enter the same password for all service accounts, I type in the VM names, change the remote desktop setting to DESKTOPS, and tell it to create a new VNet (and give it a name).  After about 6 hours, I checked the LCS deployment portal and it says Failed.  It failed configuring one of the AOS servers.  My question is this.  Does that failure cause the LCS deployment to stop at that point?  Or does it continue to deploy and configure the other servers.  I logged into the AOS that threw the error, and the AOS was installed and running so not sure what the problem was.

Also, if a ticket needs to be put in for this, I am guessing I need to put the ticket in using one of our AX support incidents instead of Azure.

as per my understanding deployment will stop at that point and no further deployment will be done.

I suggest you should put the support ticket to Azure
