Add new Stage to Marketing process

Hi guys,

I need to add a new stage to the Marketing Process but it must be at the beginning, the problem here is that once I create it, all my leads go to that stage. I need that all leads keep their stage.

I have 3 stages (One, Two and Three); 1000 leads are on stage "One". Now I added stage Zero, and if I see the 1000 leads, they are now at "Zero" stage.

Is there a way to avoid this please?

Thanks,

Raúl

    Anybody knows anything about this?

Is it just the initial set up, or the on-going default that you're concerned about?

Can you give us some details of your BPF - maybe share some screenshots.

You could make sure newly-created leads were defaulted to the correct Process Stage and Sales Pipeline Stage - possibly through a synchronous workflow.

I'm not sure whether it'd be possible to completely avoid the situation - unless you make this a separate business process flow altogether.

    Hi mscrmba,

I'm concerned about my on-going escenario. I have added the new stage to my BPF, but then I saw a couple of random leads, and all are now on the new stage.

Here is a screenshot, but I think I will have to move all leads again, once I add the new stage.

    Regards,

    Raúl

Have been doing a bit of research and it appears you still need code to do this.

You could do a custom workflow on creation of a Lead,  that updated the Process Stage to the Process Stage  of '1', '2' (or whatever it needs to be).

    Hi,

Have you been able to succesfully create a new "pre-lead" stage? We are considering something quite similar.

    Best,
