login issue with USD

Posted on by 340

Hi Experts,

in my machine whenever I'm trying to login USD Agent Application.

It always throwing error like :

You don't have permission to access any of the organizations in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online region that you specified. If you're not sure which region your organization resides in, choose "Don't know" for the CRM region and try again. Otherwise check with your CRM administrator.

But I have all access/permissions coz if I'm login in some other machine it is fine.

Do anyone have any idea regarding this issue?

I changed my machine but after some day it again started same issue.

Can anyone suggest what i should do now?

Please help me !

Regards,

Alok

I'm putting "I don't know" only but it says same thing

Sometimes it's automatically fine then next time it will give same error.

It's killing all my dev time

You just need to select the corresponding region based on your CRMXX instance. Anyways, having said that there is nothing wrong even if you keep it as "I don't know" option, it will just take another 30 seconds to check all other regions if you have any orgs.

I don't think that is what your problem is, Even one of my friend had to face the same issue and in our case due to lack of time, we just ignored that trail org and went for a different org and it worked perfectly fine. But, that is not what we are supposed to do. Can you put some more effort to investigate and see what are the log files saying? The logging of this Login control happens in a different place unlike USD logs, you need to check all MS folders once. Also, as a quick test, can you check any other MS tool like Deployment manager/plugin registration tool etc, where they will be using the same login control and see if they are working?

    Yes Melvin ,

But where we give Org URL while login we give only User Id and Password only right ?

So how it will check which discovery i'm giving ?

You don't need the discovery to know the region.

You must have something like... awesomeorg.crmx.dynamics.com in the URL. CRMX will determine the version.

Just point to the appropriate region dude, it is too slow for the discovery service to look through every region. Mapping below:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg328127.aspx

On top of that, just select the option to display all organisation.

when starting usd, click the "change login" at the bottom and select the "Display List of Available Organization" checkbox.

that will allow you to change which org in the tenant your connecting too.
