Estimated cost in the production order

Hi All,

I m configuring the production module and stuck up at one point, as after estimating the production order estimated cost is not coming on the "price list" form it is showing zero for all the BOM items, as I do have the inventory transactions for them, so I believe it should give me the average running cost of the BOM items in the "price list" form.

Can anyone suggest me did I miss any setup part, thanks in advance.

I am not sure what form you are referring to. Estimating one production order will not result in a cost price update on the produced item. For that you will have to run the price calculation for the item.

Of you have the "Latest cost price" checked on the item I assume a RAF journal or ending a production order will result in an update.

    Thanks Fredrick for your reply.

Regarding the form, I m referring to price list form available under view tab of production order form.

I believe after estimation system calculate the estimate price and the consumption based on the BOM defined. Estimated cost come based on the item running cost, it doesn’t have the financial impact only the estimated price it show.
