I have a requirement to add another step into the existing workflow of pick and put of an purchase order, which allows to capture errors in the quality inspection. I think I can get that implemented most easily with a custom work type. Or is there another way? Changing the existing flow seems almost impossible to me.... Not even with extensions...
So I am looking for someone who has experience with custom work templates. I would like to enter a Custom Work in the Work Template Details. For this I need to create a Custom Work Type.
This work type needs to create a screen in the MDE application and/or in the WhsWorkExecute emulation where I can enter and process information.
I don't know how to define or configure this work type and what I need to consider.... Is there an example of this somewhere? I can't find any information about it... Am grateful for any helpful information....
