Email router configuration incoming

Hi ,

I am trying to configure Email Router incoming profile and when i click on test access for a user. I am getting the below error.

below is the error from event viewer.

As you can see it is trying to access 443 port. But i have configured port as "25" for incoming. But still the error shows the port 443 which i couldn't understand.

Need your inputs. Thanks in Advance.

    Are the servers on different networks?  Are those ports open on the routers?  

    One way to check is from the CRM server, got o a command prompt and see if you can telnet to that port

    telnet mail.contoso.com 25

    If you cannot, then the router or server is blocking..
