Upgrade Solution D365 9.1 On Premise Error - Form XML

Hi Folks

So we have just recently upgraded our D365 9.0 on premise onto 9.1 version. However, when trying to promote solutions upgrade from dev (unmanaged) to sit (managed), we encountered the following error:

The Form XML c2413504-7eb2-4c59-a087-95d819866114 does not conform to the required schema. A schema validation error has been detected at line 0, position 0. Details: The element 'form' has incomplete content. List of possible elements expected: 'tabs'.

We did indeed do some form customisation on user main form, but this solutions upgrade issues did not happen when we were on 9.0 on premise. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Jonas

    Hi Nya

Thanks for your response. It is similar, however in our case the conflicting form component was not changed at all by customisation.

Anyway, I have got it figured out by comparing the customisation xml file specifically on the conflicting component (searched based on the guid) and then adjusting the missing xml tags based on customisation xml file in previously working solutions .zipped file.

I kind of wonder why this can happen, though since it is not the form that we have touched at all.

    Appreciate your concern. Cheers

    Regards,

    Jonas
