Time entries approval process

Hi to all, I have a request when a user submits a Time Entry to be approved automatically. I couldn't find a way to bypass this approval, so I created a simple workflow where every time an Project Approval record is created and its status is Submitted, to be changed to Approved and then set the related Time Entry status to Approved too. But, Time Entry record cannot be approved because the workflow owner is not a Project Approver. Is there any idea how can I achieve this request?

Hi Kostas,

You can try to choose one approver you need in the ‘update project approval’ step in the workflow.

update project approval

update project time entry.

Thank you for your response!! I, also created a workflow, when someone creates a new project to add the System Admin as Project Member and Approver and now my time entries are getting approved automatically

Hello , we want to edit the Project Operations workflow so that we can have time entries that are NOT associated to a project be approved by a specific person, not the default HR manager of the user.

Where can we find this flow or process or business rule, so that we can make edits to a custom solution?
