Hi,

I’m working with the Modern Bank Reconciliation feature in D365 Finance and have run into a limitation when trying to bulk import Bank Reconciliation Matching Rules.

The issue is that the posting details (Financial Details) section of the rule does not have a data entity. So im having to manually enter the account numbers and Financial dimensions for each rule.

My questions:

1. Has anyone found a supported way to bulk import matching rules including the Financial Details?
2. Is Microsoft planning to update the data entity to align with the new data model?
3. Are there any recommended workarounds for automating this setup without X++ customisation?

Hi,

yes it seems like is a limitation on the Microsoft side and I do not know of available update from MS to fix that. I had a look at it but then we decided to do it manually, so cannot tell you if it really works or not (always try first in test enviironment, of course).
