In prior releases of Dynamics GP, there was a listing of Management Reporter reports in the Financial navigation pane. It does not appear to be in the navigation pane with Dynamics GP 2016. Is this a bug or was it intended?

If Microsoft would simply say that, I would be fine with that. But since it was provided in previous releases, why not allow us to manage that through GP security?
I feel it is intended because the MR is remaining as common Reporting Interface for other Dynamics Products as well.
In a common practice, most of MR Reports or Financial Statements were used by Top Financial Executives like CFO, Controller, Senior Finance Manager etc.,
If we consider this logic, then we can understand that these top financial executives need not necessarily have access to GP (It is not required) because transactions entered by Accounts Executives, posted by them and just for reporting alone why these senior people need to access GP?
I know it was a bug in 2015 R2; doesn't sound as though it has been fixed.
