Hi,
I would like to export the Trial Balance with Details report outside of D365 F&O on a daily basis. This is required for integration purposes. I am thinking to export it to SharePoint using Document Types configuration. Could some one please point me in the right direction.
Hello Hossam,
I would advise creating a case to help troubleshoot the error you are experiencing.
Thanks,
Hi Ludwig,
Really appreciate your efforts, I believe we are almost there, I received the error "Document type to keep attachments of ER configurations has not been defined in ER parameters"
I thought the below change will fix the issue but it didn't
Below is my setup so far.
Hi Hossam,
The SharePoint can be setup in the ER output destination. There is a link in the ER workspace, which opens a form similar to the one shown in the screenprints below.
Prerequisite is that you have a Sharepoint document library defined that is linked to the D365FO document types.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig, I really appreciate your efforts. I went through your blogs and you have many blogs on electronic reporting. I was not able to identify which one shows how to setup SharePoint as a destination for electronic reporting. If you could please send me the URL of that specific blog.
I could see under the screen of Electronic Reporting Destinations under Organization Administration setting for email, archive and file, screen and PowerBI.
Hi,
You can find the official MS documentation here:
docs.microsoft.com/.../general-electronic-reporting
Additional information and examples can be found on my blog.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
Thanks. Can you please provide me the steps to achieve it through electronic report (ER) and send to SharePoint.
Hi,
I would make use of an electronic report (ER) that exports you the data.
Electronic reports can automatically send to SharePoint and the data can be export as Excel, CSV, etc. file
To me, ER seems the easiest and probably best option in this case.
Best regards,
Ludwig
