Project Management and Accounting Forecasting Item cost with average cost method

I am having trouble getting an item's average unit cost price default on Project Management and accounting item forecasts. See below for details:

Item's are setup to use the average cost method where the average unit cost is calculated in the Released item > Managed Cost > Cost Objects table per warehouse

In Project management and accounting module, on a project > plan > item forecasts, when I enter the item and warehouse combination for which I have an average unit cost, no unit cost price defaults

My expected results is that the item and warehouse combination with average unit cost should default that cost on the PM&A item forecast line.  Let me know if this is correct and what setups I am missing or if my expectations are incorrect. thanks!

    Hello Hector,

I don't think that your requirement is covered in the standard application.

You either need to implement a system modification, go along with what you have or suggest a new product idea in the experience/ideas portal.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Hey Ludwig, thanks for following up. I suggested the customer add the the cost on the released item > manage cost > price field so that the project can have an item forecast and be able to estimate costs, even if its no the exact average cost for the item/warehouse combination. Thanks for feedback!

    Thanks for your feedback.

Is there something else the community can help you with?

If this is not the case then please be so kind and verify the answer to get this thread completed.

    Many thanks and best regards,
