Open close a shift without declaring a starting amount

We have POS devices with no cash drawer and would like to configure them to not require a starting and ending shift amount. Does anyone know how to do this? We're still on Retail SDK.

This is functionality is controlled by "Require starting amounts and tender.." checkbox in the functionality profile. And functionality profile is configured at the store level. If you specifically want to do it for a shift where there is no cash drawer, I am not sure if there is an extension point.

    Hi Leemor1975,

You can change the state of a shift or suspended and blind-closed shifts for the store, but I don't think you can configure it to not require shift at all.

For more information, please view the following documentation:

    Best Regards,

    Charlotte
