Dynamics CRM, no need code test coverage, why?

Hello Experts,

I am confused why Dynamics CRM online does not need code test coverage as Salesforce needs to make sure dirty code will not be inserted at theirs servers?

Regards,

I am not certain, but my guess is that MS has much tighter resource limits on what your plugin code is capable of doing in the 90 second timeout window, vs a 10 minute timeout you get on SalesForce. Therefore if you run some poorly written plugin code in D365 CE (CRM), it is not likely to impact many other users for very long, whereas a misbehaving function (running on the SF Apex runtime) may impact many other tenants if it is out of control.
