When I install Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Enterprise Search on my SharePoint Server, the CoreResultWebpart won't work anymore. On the SharePoint Server we host our intranet, internet and Dynamics Enterprise Portal.

The Search Service Application in the Central Administration works, but when i want to make an search request on my website, the results.aspx site gives the following error.
Internal server error exception:
In found the corresponding error in the ULS log in SharePoint;

CoreResultsWebPart::OnInit: Exception initializing: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Query.ScopeCache.TryGetScope(Guid siteGuid, Int32 id, ScopeInformation& scope)

at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.WebControls.CoreResultsWebPart.SetPropertiesOnQueryReader()

And when i go to the Site Settings page of my intranet site and click on Search Scopes (viewscopes.aspx) the page gives the following error; An application error occurred on the server.
Also my searchboxes on all my websites dissapeared...

When I remove the Dynamics Enterprise Search everything works like a charm.

Anybody else having this problem?

Thnx!

    We solved the problem by giving the SQL server role  "SysAdmin" to our Business connector Account
