Dear,
I've got this error when trying to finalize some production orders (by clicking "End"). In my analysis of raw materials, contains no negative financial cost.
Has anyone dealt with this error? You know what causes it?

Thanks

Look at the production posting entries for the order.

Then look at the actual costs, if you are using by-products and booking stock in through the BOM lines (rather than just the RAF) the cost of these cannot exceed the cost of the materials.

Hi. In fact, the error was which the active cost generated for the product was lower than the total cost of raw material. Thanks for the support.

    Hello Dagiele,

Can you please share with me the solution for this case? How did you fixed this?

I checked and found that Active cost is lower than total cost of RM.

We are using Standard Cost method, I checked setup in Item group, there are already setup "Production price variance" & "Cost change variance" account, but we still can't End the production.

    Hi.

    Sorry for the delay.

In my case has been necessary reset the status reported as completed, changing the previous active cost, and then redo the report of conclusion. I hope that helps.

Could you go a bit more into detail about how you found this information?

What do you consider Active cost?  Is this the items COST_STD? under Item price Tab?

Total cost of raw material: Where are you locating this information?

These questions are to make sure I've looked at this issue the same way you are and have a better understanding of the fix!

Thanks for any help in advance!

Active cost depends upon version, but later versions this reference is to the costing version, especially in a standard costing environment. You do not have to calculate it, if you do it will use the raw material costs which you can see in the costing sheet breakdown or price from the released product. If manually created run the calculation and see.

You have not posted previously on this thread, it is verified from the original poster, so if you have questions I suggest a new post is the best method.
