I have an email template created in Dynamics 365 which has a table with the bottom border being a set width of 2.25pt.
I want to be able to create an email message that can be personalised if necessary before sending but stays in the Opportunity timeline.
This is the code for the specific area.
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="MsoNormalTable" role="presentation" style="width:100.0%;border-collapse:collapse; border:none;mso-border-bottom-alt:solid #4F276D 2.25pt; mso-yfti-tbllook:1184;mso-padding-alt:0cm 0cm 0cm 0cm; border-spacing: 0;min-width: 100%" width="100%">
<tbody>
<tr style="mso-yfti-irow:0;mso-yfti-firstrow:yes;mso-yfti-lastrow: yes">
<td style="width:100.0%;border:none; border-bottom:solid #4F276D 2.25pt;padding:0cm 0cm 0cm 0cm" valign="top" width="100%">
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
Now if I select the row containing the Opportunity and use Send Direct Email, then select the template it works fine and in Outlook the email shows a purple bar correctly.
However if when on the Opportunity record I create an email activity and insert the template it shows correctly in the Insert Template window as below
But when received the email does not show the purple bar.
Does anyone know why?
