UtcDateTime field is cut off when seconds are now displayed (TimeSeconds = No)

The value of utcDateTime field is shown correctly in grid, however it is cut off in utcDateTimeEdit control.

The problem exists in AX 2009 and AX 2012.

In AX 2012 the value is cut off even in standard AX form KanbanRules:

Is there a workaround to resolve this?
