This is my problem and I would be grateful for any suggestions/comments:
I have a customer who wants to use the WHS mobile app to RAF and put away production orders. They typically job schedule and start a quantity of say 5. They create a route card journal for the second op in the route and a picking list journal for one of the BOM lines (this is because they need instant visibility on this material and one of the operations) - other than that everything is automatic driven by the RAF transaction.
As each product comes off the line they create a RAF and put away and on the final RAF they select End Job. There are no journals posted on Start but with every RAF they post a picking list and a route card
My problem is that if I was to process my order on the console and on the final RAF I don't select mark end-mark route (or accept error) then I get multiple errors to say my jobs have not been finished and RAF fails. The fact that I have to select one of these means I cant do the RAF on the mobile device (where the only option is end job). I want to be able to carry out multiple partial RAFs on the mobile device and on the final one select End Job, post the remaining journals and set my order status to Report as Finished
The customer wants job scheduling because of the Gant chart functionality - they don't process jobs. Is there no way to tell the system that when End Job is selected on a RAF transaction I want ALL jobs to be marked as finished without changing any parameters? Also does anyone know which parameters the WHS mobile device uses when it creates the RAF transaction?
