how can I show M2 in a Caption?  I have ried M^2 but that didn't work

    i think you have issue with the encoding in your VS Code.
    try with UTF-8
    otherwise you can edit the file with another editor (notepad++ ...) and save.

     @Mohamed Amine Mahmoudi How did you get M2   Into visual basic? I copied and pasted from Word but it just pasted as M2
