Dear Sirs,

Could you please advise if the MPOS in the JEM solution can display the weights of gold and diamond jewelry products? If it can, this functionality will be beneficial for business operations. If it cannot, please explain why.

We have received information suggesting that extracting the weight data from F&O on MPOS could slow down its operations. If this is the case, as an advanced D365 cloud system, there should be a real-time synchronization operation that updates within 5-10 seconds whenever inventory is transacted for sale or transfer. Currently, this synchronization appears to be delayed.

Additionally, regarding customer advances, if the business unit has a specific format for customer receipts, is it feasible to implement this custom format? Please provide us with a resolution.

MPOS issues

Based on my experience, selling gold and diamond on the Dynamics 365 POS will require some customizations or ISVs considering the changing price (Gold, Diamond Rapaport).

There are ways to replicate on-hand data asynchronosly and calculate on hand locally (channel side).

If the required fields are available in the receipt designer, you can configure. If any fields are missing, a customization will be required.
