GP 9 - Employee Maintenence Screen - some GP users seeing codes instead of descriptions for certain fields

For GP 9, on the Employee Maintenance screen some GP users are seeing the codes displayed for the following fields instead of the descriptions:

Division
Department
Position
Location
Supervisor

For example, when looking up the same Employee ID on the Employee Maintenence screen some GP Users are seeing the "02" for the Division while others are seeing "Galesburg" as the division. 02 is the division code and Galesburg is the division description. Any ideas what is causing this discrepancy?

I imagine this issue is related to GP user permissions but I am not seeing any permission differences between users for Payroll. This company also uses Advanced Security for GP.

I made this HR user preferences setting change for each user and it fixed my issue.

Hi Greg,

This is an HR user preference setting. Go into the user preferences, hit the HR button and you will see the choice at the bottom of the window.
