Please verify also that the new computer has been a part of the domain. If yes, check how user logs in there - using local or domain account. Finally, check what database does the user logs in to.
Kindly check whether you have given access to demo database of Navision
I hope the user is already have access to the database, as i suggested earlier check the ClientUserSettings.Config for that user make sure the ServerInstance, ServerName and ClientServicesPort are set correctly. Easy would be copy over the old config file to the new computer or change manually the above properties accordingly. I believe they might have pointed to a demo database which he don't have access to.
error Message:
you do not have access to Microsoft dynamics NAV. Verify that you have been set up as a valid user in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
errpr Message:
What is the error message they are getting ? Try to copy the clientusersettings.config file from other computer to the new computer
The Location of the file is below, replace the username with appropiate username.
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\80
Can you post the error message which the user gets while logging in?
The error could be because of PersonalizationStore.xml. Try deleting it and log in again.
