Credit limit check for customer sales order

Hello Guys,

The sales orders for the customer will fail credit check if it exceeds the credit limit. The system will allow the order to be created.

However, it does not allow it to be released to the warehouse.

Questions :

  • Is it possible to release the credit held order without changing the credit limit or requirement for mandatory credit check at the customer level?

Basically, bypass credit check / force release.

  • Is it possible to change the terms to cash on the held sales order to bypass the credit check?

Please confirm If the above functionality is not in out of box and it can be implemented by customization.

Thanks in advance

    Hi Veera,

Today, it is only possible to relax the credit limit amount or parameter settings. In the past, I created multiple times a customization on the sales order entry to bypass the credit check per order. Based on security (finance department) was able to set the exceptions. You can consider a similar customization.

    Hi Veera,

Please have a look at the new credit management functionality for which Junaid shared some screenprints.

Yet, after reading your questions a number of times I wonder whether you really need / want to have a credit limit check if you want to release / bypass things.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
