I am currently working with Customer Insights business accounts in a sandbox environment and I'm trying to understand how the capacity works. We have one license for Customer Insights and I've found information stating that /Customer Insights capacities are based on profiles and accounts—unique customers identified by combining source data sets from multiple applications/.
Does this mean that for one license we can only have 10,000 companies? Interestingly, when I connect to Dataverse directly without Power Query, I am able (and required) to create all accounts in the Dataverse as profiles, which for us is more than 2 million.
So, my question is: Does the capacity differ if I connect to Dataverse directly or if I bring the Accounts from another source?
So far, I've been able to create segments based on activities and other Dynamics CRM data, but I haven't yet ingested data from other sources. I'm assuming that if I combine a new data source, the limitation would be 10,000 accounts?
The use case for now is to do segmentation of the accounts, and I'm not certain whether Customer Insights is the best tool for that. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
